Here are a few simple yoga tips to get started:
Mountain Pose (Tadasana): Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart and your arms at your sides. Press your feet into the ground, engage your leg muscles, and lengthen your spine. Breathe deeply and hold the pose for five breaths.
Cat-Cow Pose (Marjaryasana-Bitilasana): Start on your hands and knees with your wrists directly under your shoulders and your knees directly under your hips. Inhale and arch your back, lifting your tailbone and head towards the ceiling (Cow Pose). Exhale and round your spine, tucking your chin to your chest and bringing your tailbone towards your knees (Cat Pose). Repeat five times.
Child’s Pose (Balasana): From hands and knees, lower your hips back towards your heels and stretch your arms out in front of you. Rest your forehead on the ground and breathe deeply into your back. Hold the pose for five breaths before releasing.
