Balancing your Energy


From the vast peaks and seas to the slightest cells in our bodies… Everything in the universe is constantly exchanging energy. Our body has seven vital forces called Chakras, where energy flows in and out. But occasionally, they become blocked and misaligned. Then, the energy doesn’t flow smoothly.

When your chakras aren’t aligned, it can trigger emotions, and when emotions cause stress, it’s the energy asking you to vibrate higher so that it can transform and shift into freedom. Embrace your shadows. Once the shadow is embraced, it can be healed.

Here are six techniques to maintain that day-to-day stress. Align on!

  1. Breath focus. Taking long, slow, deep breaths will enable you to focus on your body well.

2. Body Scan. Gains understanding of the mind-body connection. You zero in on one aspect of the body at a time and mentally let go of any physical strain. For instance, focus on your hands and think about making them unwind.

3. Guided imagery. You can identify a unique, tranquil place, like the shore or mountains. Or call up relaxing ventures to aid you in relaxing.

4. Mindfulness meditation. You pose comfortably, concentrate on your breath, and set your mind on the current moment. Study indicates this can support pain, worry, and depression.

5. Yoga, tai chi, and qigong. These archaic skills combine steady breathing and flowing motions to soothe your mind. They also enable you to have balance and flexibility. Check with your doctor before beginning any new exercise.

6. Repetitious prayer. Reciting a brief phrase or prayer while focusing on your breath is another method that can help.

Try a mixture of these recommendations or any others you might have heard about, and strive for 15 to 20 minutes daily. But don’t worry if you can’t spend that amount of time. Less time is helpful, too. The benefits improve the longer and more often you use the relaxation methods.
